1) Can I get the keys earlier then the start of my lease as I have the removalist coming – Sorry no, Keys are handed out the day your lease starts. Remember when booking removalists always get them to deliver the furniture either later in the day you start your lease or the day after

2) My movers can’t come till the day after the final inspection is this ok – No, the final inspection can only be completed once the property is vacant. Rent is liable up until the day you hand keys back to your Real Estate

3) Can my cleaner work on the same day as the removalist – No, you need to make sure that your removalist have full access to the entire property without any hassles

Always make sure that you work with reputable removalist as this will ensure that your belongings are taken care off.

Leader Removals and Storage is the only removalist we recommend to any tenant moving in and out of a property

Top Tip: Don’t book your cleaning on move day. Here’s why:
• Unpredictable Move Delays: Moves can run behind schedule due to unforeseen circumstances like traffic, weather, or unexpected issues with your settlements.

• Cleaner Safety: Having removalists and cleaners in the same space at the same time can be a safety hazard. Accidents can happen, and it’s best to avoid unnecessary risks.

• Stressful for You: Coordinating the move, managing the removalists, and overseeing the cleaners on the same day can be incredibly stressful. It’s better to separate these tasks for a smoother experience.

Best Practices:
• Coordinate with Your Removalists: If possible, discuss the schedule with rthe removalists and ensure you are not crossing paths. Give the removalists and the cleaners ample time to work without being rushed.

• Communicate with Your Landlord: Keep your landlord informed of your cleaning plans. This can help prevent any misunderstandings or last-minute requests.

By following these tips, you can ensure a stress-free and efficient cleaning process, maximizing your chances of getting your full bond back where applicable.
